Using Community Involvement to Generate Business Value
In these unique economic times, business has to make many decisions about resources and here they can be used most effectively to create the most value. Corporate involvement in community affairs is not exempt from this examination. Hear why a company’s senior executive and her leadership team decided to maintain and enhance their community affairs
involvement.
Determining a Measurement System
As philanthropic programs are designed, there is always the question of how to determine if the program is really achieving the goals approved by all the stakeholders. Attendees will see how these companies determined the overall goal for their giving programs, and then how they decided what and how to measure against its objectives.
Conference Description:
The current economic climate forces corporations to evaluate the effectiveness of their giving strategy. As resources become scarcer the philosophy behind giving, the allocation of the resources and the efficacy of the organizations being funded, will all be challenged. This year ’s conference will focus on how contributions professionals address these questions, how to stretch giving dollars and how to help all stakeholders to be stewards of the resources. These topics will be covered while examining many fundamentals of a CCI program including: volunteer programs; regulatory and legislative issues; technology; measurement; and, communications.
